The COR850 is the perfect yacht for extended travel, with its spacious living room, closed kitchen, and large aft deck, this model stands out for its generous interior and exterior areas. The extended keel ensures exceptional stability, making it ideal for long voyages.
Each yacht is fully customizable to meet the specific needs and preferences of the owner, ensuring a personalized experience both inside and out.
Luxury and Comfort
The COR850 provides exceptional comfort for long journeys, featuring a spacious flydeck that can be arranged in any way you like. The luxurious interior is tailored to the client's preferences, allowing full control over the layout, cabin sizes, and room configurations. This ensures a truly unique and luxurious experience.
COR850 Construction
Designed for stability, the wide hull of the COR850 minimizes sideways movement, while an optional full-size keel can be ballasted to lower the center of gravity—ideal for Long Range Cruiser (LRC) configurations.
As with all our yachts, the COR850 offers ample storage, useful rooms, and pantries. The engine room even includes space for a small workshop, perfect for ongoing maintenance during long voyages.
All Cormorant yachts are built with solid, high-quality construction to ensure maximum safety for all onboard, especially children. The high bulwarks, nearly 1 meter (3.2 feet) tall, provide excellent protection, and lifebuoys are strategically placed for quick access on the main deck and flybridge, with additional space for a life raft.

Advanced Bilge Water System
The COR850 is equipped with top-tier bilge water pumps across three sections. Each section includes a standard 32L/min (8.48 GPM) pump and a high-water-level pump with a 200L/min (52.8 GPM) capacity. Additionally, a hand pump allows for manual water removal at 100L/min (26.4 GPM). For Long Range Cruisers, a mechanical pump driven by the main engine offers extra protection. The hull’s sandwich structure ensures that even in the event of a collision, water is effectively pumped out.
EMPIRBUS Safety and Diagnostics
The COR850 features the Empirbus diagnostic and alarm system, providing real-time warnings of any potential dangers. Backup batteries near the wheelhouse ensure communication and navigation systems stay operational for hours in emergencies, including navigation lighting.
Comprehensive Communication and Navigation
Standard safety features include:
Reliable Twin Drive System
The twin drive system offers superior performance compared to a single engine, with an additional get-home engine for added safety. LRC configurations include redundant steering, fuel, electric, and water systems for total reliability on long voyages.
Fire Safety
The COR850 is equipped with two Sea-Fire automatic fire extinguishing systems, one in the engine room and the other in the bow engine room, providing thorough fire protection.

Our hulls are designed exclusively for us by renowned engineer Grzegorz Władziński, combining advanced features to meet the highest demands for performance, stability, and comfort.
Sharp Bow & Spacious Interior: The hull features a sharp bow at the waterline and a wide, squat design where interior space is needed, maximizing usability. The near-vertical bow creates additional room between the bow edge and collision bulkhead, providing more functional interior space.
High Bow for Reduced Spray: With a height of over 3m (10ft) above the waterline, the bow minimizes foredeck soaking, ensuring a dry and comfortable experience in rough conditions.
Efficient Speed Range: The hull is optimized for reduced resistance at cruising speeds of 7-10 knots, ensuring smooth and economical sailing.
Flattened Stern for Stability and Speed: The wide, flattened stern allows for increased speed when necessary, such as avoiding poor weather or reaching an anchorage before dark. It also reduces side-to-side swaying, offering a more stable ride.
Optimized Weight Distribution: All critical weights, including the engines, are positioned as low as possible to lower the center of gravity and enhance comfort by reducing rolling.
Optional Keel for Enhanced Stability: An optional keel can be added to improve buoyancy, lower the center of gravity, and strengthen the righting arm, significantly improving stability and protecting rudders and screws during shallow water navigation.
Innovative Bow Design: Our cutting bow pear, unlike a typical bulbous bow, slices through the water efficiently to minimize energy loss and reduce drag. This unique shape also improves comfort when navigating choppy waters.
Advanced Stabilization & Thruster Design: Optional active fins are available for added stabilization. Additionally, our bow thruster tunnels are CFD-tested to prevent undesirable vortices and resistance, ensuring maximum efficiency.
Underwater Exhaust & Deck Drainage: Like our thrusters, underwater exhaust exits are CFD-tested for optimal performance. Storm drains, equipped with reverse-blocking functionality, ensure effective deck drainage even in severe weather.
Each of these features is meticulously engineered and tested, guaranteeing an unmatched experience on the water, no matter the conditions.

The COR850 is equipped with a user-friendly hard-wired automation system. Operating the yacht’s systems is as simple as pressing a button, thanks to an intuitive control panel. This straightforward design allows most devices to be connected with standard contactors, making repairs easy and accessible anywhere.
For advanced system monitoring, we install the Hi-End Boening Automation System, a top-tier electronic system from Germany. This system oversees all onboard functions and displays them on its own screen or an MFD page, including tank levels. With the Boening system, there’s plenty of room for expansion based on customer preferences, and it includes an ignition with an immobilizer for added security.
Switchboards
Each yacht features two main switchboards:
Engine Room Switchboard: Manages inverters, chargers, and edge socket protections.
Pilot House Switchboard: Controls power source selection, redundant systems, bilge pumps, battery banks, and charging sources.
The system is designed with simple rotary switches for easy operation, ensuring quick and stress-free decision-making even in high-pressure situations.
Electrical Systems
All configurations of the COR850 use high-quality materials and solutions to ensure safety and long-lasting performance. There are two types of power systems available, depending on the needs of the user:
Level 1 – Coastal Setup:
Level 2 – Long Range Cruiser (LRC) Configuration:
Both power systems are designed for ease of use, with intuitive switchboards and independent battery banks to maintain radio and GPS functionality in case of a total power failure.
The COR850 also features six large earthing plates, strategically placed to ensure proper load discharge and safety.
The COR850 offers two levels of advanced navigation and communication systems to suit different needs. Both levels use high-quality Garmin equipment, with the option to upgrade to Furuno systems upon request.
